Julia was so lucky to have one of those gloriously warm and sunny days we rarely get in Manchester, even in the summer. She had an early ceremony so I was working with Charlene from my Bridal Team to get her bridal party ready at her parents’ house in Sale.
For their makeup, we went for soft smokey eyes in warm tones of bronze and chocolate brown. We kept the eyes as the focus, keeping the skin fresh so the overall look was still natural. Julia wanted her hair to sweep into a low tousled chignon. I added a braid into the mix and kept the overall look loose and soft with a few tendrils framing her face.
I loved the dresses she chose for her bridesmaids – they wore sixties style crochet lace shift dresses in bright summery colours. They look so beautiful and unique!
Julia and Ben held their ceremony in St John’s church in Chorlton followed by a reception at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. The weather was beautiful so they were able to take advantage of the venue’s lovely gardens for photographs.
