Since 2007 I’ve been providing brides with elegant and timeless hair and makeup that reflects their personal style and individuality. The time spent on your hair and makeup is a perfect opportunity to relax on an otherwise busy morning. I always aim to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere for you and your party to get ready in.
It’s important your makeup looks perfect in both natural daylight and indoor lighting situations. My experience in editorial and commercial photography means I can ensure your makeup looks as great on camera as it does in the mirror.
I hold wedding trials on weekdays (including Monday – Thursday evenings) at my home studio in Prestwich. It’s comfortable, has great lighting and is easy to get to by car or tram.
You don’t need to know what you want, I’m happy to suggest or try different things.I allow two hours for a makeup trial or hair trial and three hours for both services, which is usually plenty of time to experiment.
You can bring your mum or a friend if you like and also any hairpieces you want to try. It might help you to read this blog post I wrote about how to get the most out of your wedding trial, it was lots of helpful advice.
There will be an additional charge for travel if it’s more than 20 mile from my home.
Prior to the day I’ll come up with a schedule for your morning so everyone knows what time they’ll be having hair and/or makeup. If you have a large party I’ll bring one or more of my bridal team along to help. They’re all makeup artists I’ve worked with and trusted for years.
I like to have everyone ready about an hour before you leave to allow time for getting dressed, touch ups and photographs. I’ll be there to help with your veil, headpieces and a final touch up just before you go.
If you’d like to book, please get in touch to check my availability. If I’m free on your date, I’ll send you my online booking form to fill in so I have all the correct details for you and your wedding. Once that’s completed, your wedding is booked in my diary.
When you’re ready for your trial contact me to set a date. You can pay the trial fee and £60 deposit in cash on the day or bank transfer within seven days. When you’ve confirmed final numbers I’ll email a final invoice which is due two weeks before the wedding.
