Manchester Bridal Hair & Makeup

Bridal makeup and hair artist in Manchester and the North West

Every wedding is different and so is every bride. I love creating bespoke hair and makeup looks for brides who want to feel like themselves at their very best. I’ve been doing bridal makeup in Manchester since 2007 and got married myself in 2016 so I know how it feels when you’re trying to find the right wedding suppliers.

Natural Bridal Makeup

I specialise in creating clean, fresh and natural makeup and relaxed hairstyles. Many of my clients wear little or no makeup day to day and don’t want to feel heavily made up just because they’re a bride. I also love an alternative bride who’s looking for something beyond a smokey eye and glossy lip.

Calm Atmosphere

My aim is to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere on your wedding morning. It’s important to me that your bridal party enjoys getting ready as much as the rest of the day. Having worked with hundreds of brides over the years, I’m an expert at helping to calm those last minute nerves.

Experienced Makeup Artist

On your wedding day it’s important your makeup looks perfect in both natural and indoor lighting. My experience in fashion and commercial photography means I can ensure your makeup looks as great on camera as it does in the mirror.

I’m based in Prestwich and cover Greater Manchester as well as parts of Lancashire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire. If it sounds like I’d be a good fit for your big day then please get in touch!

I hold wedding trials on weekdays (including Monday – Thursday evenings) at my home studio in Prestwich. It’s comfortable, has great lighting and is easy to get to by car or tram.

You don’t need to know what you want, I’m happy to suggest or try different things. I allow two hours for a makeup trial or hair trial and three hours for both services, which is usually plenty of time to experiment.

You can bring your mum or a friend if you like and also any hairpieces you want to try. It might help you to read how to get the most out of your wedding trial, a blog post I wrote to help brides prepare for their trial.

Wedding Day

Prior to the day I’ll come up with a schedule for your morning so everyone knows what time they’ll be having hair and/or makeup. If you have a large party I’ll bring one or more of my bridal team along to help. They’re all makeup artists I’ve worked with and trusted for years.

I like to have everyone ready about an hour before you leave to allow time for getting dressed, touch ups and photographs. I’ll be there to help with your veil, headpieces and a final touch up just before you go.

If you’re getting ready more than 20 miles from my home, there will be an additional charge for travel.

Booking And Payment

If  you’d like to book, please get in touch to check my availability. If I’m free on your date, I’ll send you my online booking form to fill in so I have all the correct details for you and your wedding. Once that’s completed, your wedding is booked in my diary.

When you’re ready for your trial contact me to set a date. You can pay the trial fee and £75 deposit in cash at the trial or by bank transfer within seven days. When you’ve confirmed final numbers I’ll email a final invoice which is due two weeks before the wedding.
