- Which areas do you cover?
I travel to Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, West Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Please note that I do charge milage at 50p per mile after the first 20 miles from M21.
- Do I really need a trial?
The trial is really important as it allows me to practice your look and get it perfect before the wedding day. This means that on the day I can be fast and efficient, know exactly what I’m doing. It’s also a chance for you to preview how you’ll look and for me to get to know you.
- How far in advance should I have the trial?
I usually suggest around three months before the wedding, although some brides have it earlier or later.
- How long does the trial take?
I allow 2-3 hours for a bride’s hair and makeup trial and slightly less for just hair or makeup. Allow extra time for additional people.
- How should I prepare for the trial?
If you’re having a hair trial, please have clean, dry hair (washed the day before is fine). If you’re having a makeup trial, have a makeup-free face if possible. Visual aids really help if you’ve got a style in mind so get together any images you’ve seen of looks you like.
- What products do you use?
I use mostly MAC as I really trust their products and have used them for a long time. I do have a few other brands in my kit too, including Illamasqua, Dermalogica, NARS, Fresh and Chanel.
- I have sensitive skin. Could you use my makeup?
Of course. I understand that each person’s skin is different and my products may not be right for you. I am happy to use your makeup if you prefer.
- How will I top up my lip colour?
I can supply you with a full size lipstick or gloss of the colour I use for an additional £10.
- How do I secure my wedding date?
Once I’ve confirmed I’m available on your day, I will email you my booking form to fill in. As soon as I’ve received the completed form, the date is booked for you. A non-refundable £30 deposit is required on the day of the trial.
